What shall I doooo?!

I want to do some study, wake my brain up a little from the 6 years of Stay At Home Mumming. Maybe go a little way to finding me a bit more. But what shall I study? I want something useful because I have a degree that I don't use practically (Theatre Studies & Music Tech). I have no idea where my academic talent lies.

I don't want to make the same mistake as my A'levels where I studied English because I loved reading. I do love reading but I like reading the story and I don't enjoy delving into the whys and wherefores. I did enjoy Chemistry but would that be do-able in a not in class kind of way?!

Uff. Why is it I can make a billion choices a day for the girls but I can't make one for myself!

Weeell, in your position I chose to do something that might also (hopefully) earn me some money. I needed to do that for obvious reasons but also I think because although I'm really enjoying using my brain again, I wanted to feel 'useful' (which is silly, as being a mother is the most important and useful job of course). Am probably explaining this badly, but is there something you could do that might mean that once you've finished your study, you can bring in some dosh? I think that feeling has really helped my self esteem.

Do something that interests you and intrigues you

That said, don't suppose you've considered training to teach theatre?

Here here Mrs B! And I think you ought to do something that would develop your photography - you are very skilled. You could make money there and be doing something you are already good at, and that you patently enjoy.

A mix of theatre and photography? A little twist on the wedding dress pics you do? [wedding dress / dressing up / theatre / props?] FB me - let's discuss - I have millions of ideas ;)
